participaram no curso de formação Green Skills for Education.
This training course allows participants to get a deeper insight and sharing of the role teachers and education can play in promoting a green skill set and a learning environment responsive to the most topical global challenges. Participants will learn and practice tools and strategies to model conscious behaviors, promote dialogue and debate among students on climate change,plan lessons around sustainable development goals, grow future-oriented and critical minds.
The general aim of this course is to equip teachers and education staff with formal, informal and non-formal tools to become active players in the green transition, developing students' green skills and promoting a behavioral change in favor of a true commitment to sustainable development
goals.
Thanks to this course the participants will:
- Gain inspiration on how to develop students’ green skills sets, including knowledge about sustainability themes and responsible attitudes towards the environment;
- Get acquainted with teaching material on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how to integrate it in the curriculum;
- Learn how to approach topical issues of global warming, carbon cycle, carbon sinks, food consumption, population growth through non-formal and experiential learning activities;
- Get hints on how to make a lesson greener through the use of ICT, creativity-based approaches, outdoor-inspired activities and project-based learning;
- Be ready to take action and make personal and classroom plans for a green change.
