Effective Group Management in education: building teamwork among students 

This course allows participants to foster a collaborative environment for team working in the classroom and get the foundational ideas for defining achievements the result of interdependence and collaboration rather than independence and competition, hence promoting a culture of collaboration in the learning environment.

Learning objectives

 Thanks to this course the participants will:

-  Acquire knowledge and tools about team working, team management and leadership;
-  Learn and practice reflective tools for establishing appropriate norms of behavior and coordination in group work;
-  Learn how to effectively use questioning and coaching strategies to support team working;
-  Learn how to support students self and peer assessment in teamwork as well as how to apply formative assessment strategies;
-  Get to know different strategies to scaffold learning in groups and provide appropriate feedback;
-  Exchange best practices and share experiences about group management with teachers and education staff coming throughout Europe.
